1620 fans attend Brownsville Show; 2nd NWA-SW all-time attendance The second largest NWA Southwest attendance ever -1620 - came to NWA-SW’s affiliate Lucha Americana International (NWA-SW /LAI) Show on September 12, to see NWA World Champion Blue Demon make his first NWA wrestling appearance in Brownsville, Texas. It took place at the Circuit City building, and was a standing room only crowd after 1250 seats were occupied. Blue Demon defeated challenger Golden King to retain the NWA World Heavyweight title in the Main Event, and NWA Texas Junior champion SKAM-13 fought challenger Camacho Becerra to a DDQ, but retained the title.
